About Periwinkle

The sewing journey for me began at age ten.  First making dolls outfits and progressing to making my own clothes and Wedding and Debutant dresses.  In 1994 my Mum Barbara introduced me to patchwork and a whole new world was opened to me. 

I had always had a love for fabric - the textures and the drape of fabric, but after being shown the world of patchwork I knew I had found a true passion.  I love the pattens, the cutting, the mathematics, the machine and hand techniques of the process.

Periwinkle Patchwork commenced business in 2008.  A lifelong passion for sewing has become my dream business.
